Welcome back! Today's post is all about looks and fashion inspiration from the movie Léon: The Professional. Since I have a lot of free time on my hands before school starts again next monday, I watched the movie, took screenshots, and made a "fashion collage" in my journal from outfits I enjoyed. Here are the outfits.
The screenshots were mainly of Mathilda, portrayed by Natalie Portman, but I couldn't help but throw in a few pictures of Léon who has three looks only.
1. White long sleeve top with black pants and black suspenders
2. Black long sleeve top with black pants and black suspenders
3. Black pants black coat and his iconic round sunglasses+grey beanie combo

Note that the violin case and the plant are extremely important fashion accessories. As a violinist, I can confirm that the majority of my outfits looked a lot more cooler when I was carrying my violin with me. Sadly, I don't have much experience with plants, but you can tell it contributes to the look.
Next up, Mathilda!
Next up, Mathilda!
If you haven't seen the movie, after this series of stills you might start to realise that you, in fact, have seen Mathilda on Tumblr approximately 7435853 times. Mathilda's iconic fashion piece is her black choker. We also see her wear most of the clothing items multiple times as different combinations, creating different outfits each time with the limited amount of clothing items she has.
IMPORTANT MATHILDA FASHION ITEMS:
1. Green bomber jacket
2. White knit cardigan
3. Floral high-wasted denim shorts
4. Red shirt with stripes

In every movie, there is that one part where characters have sort of fallen into this cycle, they have a plan, a schedule, a way of living that consists of daily habits. This part is usually introduced to the audience as a 2-3 minute chronological short video with indie rock music playing in the background. This is where we see Léon and Mathilda start breaking down doors, going in, doing their job, drinking milk. The usual.
This is where we start seeing Mathilda with different clothing items. I thought she had already reached her fashion peak but after I saw her with that zip up colour block top, I knew that was her absolute best look. It's also really cute how she starts wearing a beanie and round sunglasses like Léon. What's also really sweet is how unlike her is that pink lacy dress, but she still wears it. Really shows how much she actually loves Léon. Not in love, just loves him.

Two final looks before I let you go on with your day! The still with the children sitting on the steps is from the end of the movie, and I also really like it as a photograph. The older girl sitting on the left is definitely added to summer 2k16 looks. That's it for now!
